WELCOME TO ST. AMBROSE
Saint Ambrose Parish was established on January 4, 1948. The name of the parish was chosen by Bishop Hunt to honor St. Ambrose, the early Church’s learned and scholarly Bishop of Milan, and because his Episcopal coat of arms contained a beehive, both symbolic of Ambrose’s eloquence, and also the symbol of the State of Utah. The Patronal feast of the parish is December 7th, commemorating the day St. Ambrose was consecrated bishop in 374.

Our parochial school, J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School, accepts students toddler through eighth grade. The mission of J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School is to guide our students to become respectful, responsible, and productive citizens through quality academic instruction that is grounded in Catholic teachings and tradition.

We also have Religious Education classes for all children from 3 years old through twelfth grade (post-Confirmation in eighth grade). Parishioners of all ages enjoy opportunities for Faith Formation—from celebrating the sacraments, to meeting God in new ways through various ministries, to growing in faith with other adults in our parish through small groups and speaker events.

We have many active ministries—so there’s always somewhere to get involved. Interested in learning more or becoming a member? Contact us.
